Dame Vera Lynn

The Branch are sorry to record the passing of Dame Vera Lynn on the 18th June 2020…David and Alison Batcock arranged for Dame Vera to visit the Branch in 2007, see photograph with President Irene Lorimer (who sadly passed away recently…see obituary), David and Alison Batcock.  At the time she talked to members about her career and members were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet her.  Rest in Peace Dame Vera – you will be greatly missed.
